Milan Events – Refund & Cancellation Policy
At Milan Events, we take pride in delivering exceptional service and ensuring that every event is executed with the highest standard of excellence. To maintain fairness and protect the operational resources allocated to each booking, we have established a strict refund and cancellation policy.
1. Cancellation & Refund Structure

6 months or more prior to the event date: Eligible for a 50% refund of the total quoted amount.

Between 3 and 6 months prior to the event date: Eligible for a 25% refund of the total quoted amount.

Less than 30 days prior to the event date: No refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
2. Conditions of Refund

All refund and cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to: eat@milangroup.co.za.

Refunds will only be processed once the written request has been acknowledged in writing by Milan Events.

Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 30 business days of approval.

No verbal, telephonic, or social media cancellation requests will be considered valid.
3. Non-Refundable Costs

Any third-party services, suppliers, décor items, catering ingredients, or staffing secured specifically for the client’s event remain non-refundable, regardless of the cancellation period.

Deposits made to secure the event date are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.
4. Client Responsibility

It is the client’s responsibility to notify Milan Events in writing within the timelines stipulated above if a cancellation is required.

Failure to adhere to the written cancellation process will result in forfeiture of any potential refund.

The client accepts full liability for cancellations made outside of the policy terms.
5. Event Postponements

Postponements requested by the client will be treated as a cancellation, and the refund policy will apply.

A new booking will need to be made and priced at the current rates at the time of rebooking.
6. Force Majeure (Unforeseen Circumstances)

In the event of natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or any situation beyond the control of Milan Events, the refund policy stated above will remain in effect.

Milan Events is not obligated to provide refunds outside the terms of this policy.
Acknowledgement
By confirming a booking with Milan Events, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by this Refund & Cancellation Policy in its entirety.
